STUDIO

I have historically used the floor of my studio as my palette, incorporating a variety of objects as my tools. I often worked in cycles of three to five works at the same time, re-visiting each piece with my layering and scraping process, using my hands and tools directly on canvas, wood, or paper surfaces. Some of my tools, such as non-traditional scraping devices, became inspiration for future concepts, as did my floor palette. Once I felt I had completed a small group of three to five works, I began the process all over again. A body of work usually consisted of approximately fifteen to twenty works. In June 2026 I closed my creative space and re-organized 60 years of work (approximately 1300 pieces) into a living library and legacy archive. Today the majority of my “studio” work is generated and stored on my iPhone, whereon I work daily, manipulating my digital images and sharing them regularly on social media. Many of those images are reproduced on metal in limited editions and are available for purchase on request.
